The cardboard box used by Donald Hume, a British criminal and murderer, to hide his handgun during the bank robbery, and his forged passport, with which he lived in Switzerland for three quarters of a year, are shown as evidence at the trial in Winterthur. Hume also commits a crime in Switzerland and seriously injures a bank employee during a bank robbery in Zurich on January 30, 1959, killing a taxi driver while fleeing. The jury court in Winterthur sentences Hume to life imprisonment in the Regensdorf prison. It was not until 1976 that the unruly prisoner was transferred to Great Britain.
