Image description: Serious crash during a 100 kilometre cycling race at a velodrome in New York. The accident occurred early in the race when two Italian riders fell, bringing down numerous other competitors. One of the Italians suffered a fractured skull and eight other riders were unable to continue. Una corsa ciclistica di cento chilometri nel velodromo di New-York e stata funestata da un grave incidente. Poco dopo la partenza due corridori italiani si sono urtati cagionando la caduta di molti concorrenti.
