Location: Various, Somalia Creator: Ugo Adilardi The living conditions, the work, the traditions of the Somali nomads, who move through the bushes, pastures and through the deserts of the country. Nomads are a large social component of the young African state; for centuries struggling to survive, in continuous search of water wells and pastures that resist recurring droughts, today belong to a country that seeks and pursues its autonomous development, free from the conditioning of neocolonialism. In the perspective of this development, the problem of nomadism presents itself as one of the most important for the construction of a new social, economic and cultural identity of the Somali people.
