Pomeranian Voivodeship, Germany Hall of fame of the Ordensburg Krossinsee in Pomerania. In the center of the free-standing, thatched portico, there is a sculpture by the artist Willy Meller, an eagle standing on a swastika. The photo was taken probably on the day of inauguration of Kroessinsee on 24/04/1936. Besides Kroessinsee in Pomerania and Vogelsang in the Eifel park, Sonthofen im Allgaeu is one of three Ordensburgs that had been erected as training centers for future command personnel (cadres) of the Nazi Party. 1936
