A transport column of horse-drawn carts has halted on a road within a grove or wood of small trees near Sarona, Palestine. The open carts have been covered with foliage to camouflage them from enemy aircraft. In the right foreground a British soldier sits by the roadside, while further back two bare-chested British soldiers appear to be finding more material for camouflage from some neighbouring vegetation.
