MARINE WITH US FLAG AND BIN LADEN PICTURE IN HOLE AT AFGHANISTAN BASE, 2001-12-05 (photo)

US Marine Cpl Brad Luschinski,22, from Sheridon, Indiana mans his machine gun at his fighting hole' at a forward position at the US Marine operations base in southern Afghanistan early December 5, 2001 morning alongside a photograph of Osama Bin Laden with "Wanted Dead or ALive" written around it next to an American flag stretched over a sandbag. Marines at this area are with Charlie 1/1 of the 15th MEU (Marine Expeditionary Unit) and are with a small mortar company protecting the extreme north line of the base. The were the first forces to arrive November 25 when Charlie 1/1 took command of this secret airstrip, and have been living in their fighting holes with a few hours sleep taken in shifts.
