Detail. A fresco damaged in its lower part, in which one can see a group of Dominican friars gathered in prayer, all seated round a masculine figure with aureole, who turns his back on the observer; he is Saint Peter martyr, he is about to receive the cloth from Saint Dominic, standing in front of him; all the Dominicans wear the typical dark cloak on a white tunic; the one on the right of Saint Dominic has his hands joined in prayer; in the foreground it should appear another row of friars seen from behind, but only their heads remain preserved; the scene takes place inside a church seen in section, characterized by a with round windows in its upper part, a high bell tower and a double slope crowning with a cross on its top
